I made a trip to Winstar this past Wednesday to play the $60 daily tournament. (Just as a side note: I remember playing in this thing when it was limited to 60 players, and there was NO WAY to sign up late. Nowadays, they have 110 players, with 20 alternates). I busted out early when I got all my chips in on the turn with a set of 6's, against a woman who had top pair with a flush draw. Guess what she hit on the river?
On a lark, I decided to count the number of Texas license plates in the parking lot vs. Oklahoma plates. I had driven up and down several rows of cars when I noticed that security was following me. Deciding that I should probably beat a hasty retreat, I left and figured that I had enough of a count to let you all know where Winstars' money is coming from. The score?
Texas plates - 104
Okla. plates - 6
